Devon Werkheiser stars as Ned Bigby in Nickelodeon’s hit series “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide” where he navigates the hurdle-filled halls of TV’s James K. Polk Middle School. The series finished airing its third season last June with an hour movie special, “Fieldtrips,” where Ned finally gets the girl as he finishes middle school. “Ned knows a lot, and I picked up a lot of tips from his survival guide on first kisses, handling bullies, crushes, stress and much more,” says the now 17 year old, who notes an affinity for his self-aware character. In October, 2007, Devon accepted the Kids Choice Award in Germany for favorite children's television series. His show continures to air daily in the US and throughout Europe, the UK, South America, Asia, Canada and Australia.

At age 10, Devon landed the part of Mel Gibson’s son in the Georgia-filmed feature “We Were Soldiers” and thrived on the experience. The following year, he and his mom headed for Hollywood during pilot season and he was cast as John Larroquette and Lesley Ann Warren’s son in the independent film/video release “Recipe for Disaster. “ Soon after, he landed the role of Ned Bigby in “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide.”

In 2007, Devon starred in Nickelodeon's first made-for-television movie "Shredderman Rules." Devon also voiced the role of Casper in Cartoon Network’s animated film "Casper's Scare School.” Most recently, Devon filmed the Lifetime movie “Christmas in Paradise” which aired December 2007.

Currently, Devon is busy co-writing and recording all of his own songs for his debut album for Universal Music Group on which he’ll both sing and play guitar. Devon plans to tour after his album is released later this year.

Off-camera, Devon enjoys making music, playing guitar, surfing, working out at the gym, hanging with his friends, watching movies and playing X-Box. Devon resides in Los Angeles but enjoys visits home to Atlanta when his schedule permits.
